Kronos Quartet – In Formation (HDCD, CD)

A string quartet playing the blues? Exactly, and tailor-made for the successful musicians! This is the first recording by the Kronos Quartet, which later became known to a wider audience with the album „Kronos Quartet Plays Music of Thelonious Monk”. The Kronos Quartet focuses on contemporary music by composers such as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Terry Riley and Henryk Górecki. Their latest release is an interpretation of a track by Icelandic band Sigur Rós and Hendrix’s version of „The Star-Spangled Banner”.

Released in 1982

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
