The remarkable Trio de Curda plays a selection of tangos on this album, recorded by René Laflamme on analogue tape using a Nagra IV-S. Once again, Laflamme worked without overdubs or post-production. The Argentinians José Ariel Palacio and Lucas Maxit and the Frenchwoman Juliette Malgrange play in front of a single Neumann microphone in the church of St-Jean Baptiste in Montréal.
