The Doors – Waiting For The Sun (Vinil 180g, LP dublu)

After „Strange Days”, the expectations of fans and critics were high. With their third album from 1968, the Doors then landed their first chart hit, „Waiting for the Sun” reached number 1 in the charts. The song material turned out to be friendlier and included ballads like „Love Street”, „Summer’s Almost Gone” and „Yes, The River Knows”. But the album also included the militantly political „The Unknown Soldier”, a statement against war, a reaction to the fighting in Vietnam.

„Waiting for the Sun”, by the way, is not to be confused with the song of the same name. This can be found on the album „Morrison Hotel”.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
