The Dave Brubeck Quartet – Time Further Out (Vinil 180g, LP)

Based on the successful album „Time Out” from 1959, the Dave Brubeck Quartet devotes itself on „Time Further Out” from 1961 again to experimental playing around the most diverse time signatures. From 3/4- to 9/8-time, the tracks are arranged according to the number of beats. Together with an all-star cast including altoist Paul Desmond, bassist Eugene Wright and drummer Joe Morello, pianist Brubeck brings his creative arrangements to life and takes the listener on a wide-ranging jazz journey of discovery full of new rhythmic ideas.

The reissue as a 180 gram 33 1/3 RPM LP by Impex Records has gained even more vividness in remastering by George Marino at Sterling Sound. A worthy successor that hardly lets you keep still.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
