Stone Temple Pilots – Core (Vinil 180g, LP dublu)

Driving guitar riffs, melodic bass lines: Californian rockers Stone Temple Pilots got off to a flying start in 1992 with their debut album Core, which went platinum eight times and won a Grammy for the song Plush.

The album strikes a balance between heavy, grungy tracks and introspective, melodic compositions. Songs like ‘Sex Type Thing’ and ‘Wicked Garden’ show the harder, rockier side of the band, while tracks like ‘Plush’ and ‘Creep’ demonstrate their ability to write soulful, radio-ready ballads. The band’s successful blend of alternative rock, grunge and hard rock, peppered with psychedelic influences, has contributed to their popularity and longevity in the alternative rock scene.

This audiophile reissue is part of Analogue Productions’ Atlantic75 series. The 45 rpm double LP was mastered by Ryan K. Smith.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
