Shirley Horn – Softly (Ediție pe bandă magnetică (1 bandă))

‘Softly’, released in 1988, is considered one of the most profound and emotional albums by jazz pianist and vocalist Shirley Horn. Together with Charles Ables on bass and Steve Williams on drums, she immersed herself in intense recording sessions that lasted until dawn in the living room atmosphere of Mapleshade Studios in Maryland. The intimacy of this audiophile re-release is intensely emphasised, allowing the listener to empathise and relax. A remarkable gem of jazz piano!
