Robert Farnon & The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra – Captain Horatio Hornblower R. N. (HDCD, CD)

In 1951, Robert Farnon was commissioned to compose his first film score for a major international film production, „Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N.” starring Gregory Peck. The film was directed by the legendary Raoul Walsh, who had made a name for himself in Hollywood with his action films. The film became a worldwide hit and Farnon almost wrote his magnum opus with the music.

Released in 1992.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
