Rebecca Pidgeon – The Raven (SACD hibrid)

Rebecca Pidgeon has an instinctive talent for storytelling: with elements from folk, pop, jazz and Celtic traditions, the Scottish singer creates lively, intimate poetry. Her captivating and crystal-clear voice made her famous overnight and also very successful in the audiophile scene – after all, her album debut “The Raven” was released on Chesky Records! “The Raven” contains both captivating originals such as the engaging ‘Grandmother’ or the rhythmic ‘Kalerka’ and new interpretations of all-time classics like ‘Spanish Harlem’. Her style was an instant reminder of Linda Ronstadt and Suzanne Vega, prompting Rolling Stone Magazine to say, ”Rebecca Pidgeon is one of those rare singers who convey pure emotion.”

The album was produced using Chesky’s renowned high-fidelity recording techniques that put Rebecca’s expressive voice center stage.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
