Patricia Barber – Clique (SACD hibrid multicanal)

With Clique, Patricia Barber follows up on her album Nightclub, which was popular with fans and critics alike and on which she presents American standards. The US jazz musician, pianist and composer has made a name for herself among audiophiles with her music between poetry, jazz and art song. Clique is a renewed collection of standards that Barber has previously only played in concert as encores, including titles by Stevie Wonder, Lee Hazlewood and Thelonious Monk. She is accompanied by longtime collaborators Patrick Mulcahy (bass), Jon Deitemyer (drums), Neal Alger (guitar) and Jim Gailloretto (saxophone).

Recording in DXD is the responsibility of Grammy winner Jim Anderson, who also handled the mixing at Skywalker Sound’s studios. Bob Ludwig (Gateway Mastering) is responsible for the mastering. Fans are calling it Patrica Barber’s best album.

Hybrid multi-channel SACD with stereo SACD track and the CD track with MQA encoding.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
