Lionel Richie – Truly: The Love Songs (SACD hibrid)

Lionel Richie’s second compilation Truly: The Love Songs was released in 1997 and the name says it all: the album contains 19 tracks by the American singer from his time with the Commodores and as a solo artist. And there is little to miss! Richie often showed his romantic side on his big hits. These include All Night Long (All Night), Dancing on the Ceiling, Hello, Easy, Endless Love and Say You, Say Me.

Hong Kong is a very special market for audiophile music lovers. The local branch of Universal Music has recognised this by having some of Ball Au’s popular tracks remixed at Hong Kong’s Sound Max Studios. The mastering clearly has the audiophile in mind and often differs very favourably from previous productions. Naturally, both the PCM and DSD tracks benefit from the improved sound. The Hybrid SACDs themselves are manufactured in Japan.

Here’s a little tip from us: Only the first 1,000 copies of this limited edition, manufactured in Japan, feature a sequential serial number and are therefore extremely sought after by collectors. So don’t wait too long to place your order!

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
