Jackson 5 – ABC (Vinil 180g, LP)

“ABC,” the second album by the Jackson 5 – who became overnight stars after their debut – turned Michael, Jermaine, Marlon, Tito, and Jackie into a supergroup. The album features the tracks “ABC” and “The Love You Save (A Little Experience),” with which they continued their string of No. 1 hits on the U.S. singles charts. The album was recorded at The Sound Factory in California, USA, and released by Motown on May 8, 1970. It sold up to 6 million copies worldwide, reached No. 4 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart, and No. 1 on the Billboard Black Albums chart. It also ranked No. 98 on VH1’s list of the 100 Greatest Albums of All Time. It remains one of the Jackson 5’s most popular albums. The title track was nominated for a Grammy Award in 1971 for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.

Universal Music Japan is now presenting a strictly limited LP reissue of “ABC” – pressed on high-quality, clear blue 180-gram vinyl (33 RPM). The album comes with an OBI strip and contains a booklet including liner notes and lyrics.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
