Eagles – Desperado (SACD hibrid)

„Desperado” seems to address a universal human theme – the notion that we are all essentially drifters, always searching in life for ever elusive goals like stability, companionship, belonging and contentment. The Eagles’ 1973 album combines coherent Western arrangements with conceptual narratives, hitting on a tried-and-true American principle: the West and the freedom, promise and danger it has embodied throughout U.S. history. Sophisticated yet accessible, profound yet direct, „Desperado” remains a towering influence on country rock and a crucial part of the Eagles’ development and evolution.

Mobile Fidelity’s remastered, numbered hybrid SACD pays tribute to the record’s significance and is an experience for current and future generations. It offers a vibrant, dynamic, transparent, balanced, and intimate view of a release whose importance is ever-increasing in today’s world, and is sonically accomplished enough to enhance a work that audiophiles have always held close to their hearts. The opportunity to enjoy the Eagles’ golden harmonies, the different timbres of the voices and the interplay between acoustic and electric instruments has never been so good.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
