Duke Ellington And His Orchestra – Ellington Indigos (Vinil 180g, LP)

The Ellington Orchestra was not only a great jazz band, but also played at countless dances at universities across America. This album creates exactly that mood that Duke Ellington’s audiences loved so much: well-known standards played with the band’s personal touch. „Indigos” is a collection of elegant and romantic ballads by the master of American large group jazz. It includes interpretations of standards such as „Mood Indigo,” „Autumn Leaves,” „Prelude To a Kiss” and more.
