Dire Straits – Love Over Gold (SACD hibrid)

By the time of the release of their fourth studio album, ‘Love Over Gold’, Dire Straits were no longer in financial difficulties due to their growing success. With the addition of new guitarist Hal Lindes, Mark Knopfler produced a five-track album that was all the more ambitious and expansive in sound. With the 14-minute opening track Telegraph Road, Knopfler creates a stirring experience that can sustain long instrumental passages.

The remastering for this hybrid SACD was done by Rob LoVerde, assisted by Shawn R. Britton. The limited edition with sequential serial number comes in a mini LP cover with an 8-page booklet.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
