Toto – 40 Tours Around The Sun (SACD hibrid dublu)

Recorded live at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam on March 17, 2018, before a sold-out crowd of over 18,000 fans, “40 Tours Around The Sun” celebrates four decades of hit songs and unparalleled musicianship from the legendary American rock band Toto. Featuring the core lineup of Steve Lukather, David Paich, Steve Porcaro, and Joseph Williams, the performance serves as a powerful reminder to their worldwide, multi-generational fanbase why Toto remains one of the top-selling recording and touring acts in the world. The setlist features a career-spanning selection of songs, including Grammy-winning hits “Rosanna” and “Africa,” alongside “Hold The Line” and “Stop Loving You.” The performance also includes rarely performed deep cuts like “Make Believe” and two tracks from their “40 Tours Around The Sun” greatest hits album, highlighting the technical brilliance of every band member across their history.

Released by Evosound part of the Front Row Center collection, this Double Hybrid-SACD (Dual-Layer) preserves the performance with pristine fidelity. The high-resolution format captures Toto’s signature technical excellence with breathtaking clarity, while the 5.1 multi-channel surround mix recreates the immersive atmosphere of the Ziggo Dome. This is the most transparent and detailed presentation of Toto’s historic 40 anniversary tour.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
