The Spinners – Spinners (Vinil 180g, LP)

The Spinners switched to the Atlantic label when Motown still dominated soul. But Aretha Franklin, who herself had made her breakthrough with the New Yorkers, made the decisive recommendation. „Spinners” became the first album on Atlantic – and is still a soul classic today. Possibly not the band’s most successful release, but their best. Together with producer Thom Bell, the musicians delivered timeless hits like „I’ll Be Around” and „Could It Be I’m Falling in Love,” laying the foundation for an extremely successful collaboration that made The Spinners stars.

The remastering of the 180-gram vinyl LP from Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab was handled by Krieg Wunderlich. He gives the acclaimed Philadelphia sound new audiophile quality. Finest details and warm emotionality take their place, every single singer’s voice is now clearly distinguishable in the finely tuned mix; the orchestration can unfold clearly and transparently. Limited edition with consecutive serial number.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
