The Prestige All Stars – All Night Long [Mono] (SACD hibrid mono)

Strictly speaking, the Prestige All Stars were not yet established names in the jazz business, but they were an exquisite collection of promising young talent. Under the relaxed leadership of guitarist Kenny Burrell, the 1956 album All Night Long brought together some of the best musicians on the New York scene – including trumpeter Donald Byrd, tenor saxophonist Hank Mobley, flutist Jerome Richardson, pianist Mal Waldron and, in the rhythm section, Doug Watkins and Arthur Taylor. The relaxed, swinging pulse of the LP and the high quality of the musical performance have long been the hallmarks of every Burrel project.

The hybrid mono SACD is part of a series of 50 reissues on the Prestige label and comes in a mini-LP sleeve. It was mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearant Audio Studios.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
