Tennessee Ernie Ford – Country Hits…Feelin’ Blue (SACD hibrid)

That voice! Tennessee Ford’s impressive, intense baritone comes through magnificently in this recording accompanied by guitar and bass. „Country Hits…Feelin’ Blue” is considered a classic in the scene and gets under your skin. The singer and popular television host, who was well known in the 1950s through the 1970s, especially in the United States, has earned his place in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The songs on this album are penned by well-known country composers such as Hank Williams, Fred Rose, Jenny Lou Carson, Willie Nelson and Don Gibson. Ford is joined by guitarist Billy Strange and bassist John Mosher.

Remastering for the hybrid SACD was handled by Kevin Gray of Cohearent Audio.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
