Son House – Father of Folk Blues (Vinil 180g, LP dublu)

Before a group of young blues lovers rediscovered him in 1964, Son House was already legendary for his influence on blues greats like Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters, as well as for some live recordings made by music researcher and collector Alan Lomax in 1941 and 1942 for the Library of the United States Congress. After a good twenty years in a musical deep sleep, House first had to rework his repertoire of songs before he was able to record the LP „Father of the Delta Blues” for Columbia Records in 1965.

Analogue Productions presents this important and according to Living Blues Magazine „essential recording of one of the greatest blues musicians who ever existed” in unprecedented sound quality.

Double LP with 45 rpm.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
