Salvatore Accardo – The Best Of Violin (XRCD24)

Italian violinist Salvatore Accardo has played for many major record labels, but he has a special collaboration with Giulio Cesare Ricci of Foné. The artist and the label owner have worked together for over 28 years. „The Best Of Violin” contains some of their finest recordings of pieces for solo violin, violin and piano, or violin and orchestra.

For his work, Giulio Cesare Ricci uses only Neumann microphones (M49 and U47), and the recordings are not edited. All tracks can be heard as they were played during the recording.
