Saint-Saëns – Symphony No. 3 (Organ Symphony) (Vinil 180g, LP)

Saint-Saëns’ “Symphony No. 3” with the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal, conducted by multiple Grammy Award winner Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin, is a breathtaking experience! The Canadian conductor – music director of the New York Metropolitan Opera, the Philadelphia Orchestra, principal conductor of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, principal guest conductor of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, to name just a few career milestones – and 2xHD took advantage of the brilliant acoustics of the Oratoire Saint-Joseph in Montréal to give the French composer’s popular work the audio quality it deserves! The entire grandeur of the music, from the deepest resonances of the organ to the most colorful orchestral sounds, is captured with the utmost precision on this recording. Every detail comes alive, every emotion is palpable.

Saint-Saëns’ “Organ Symphony” is an outstanding recording in which the power of the performance meets the purity of the 2xHD Fusion format! The LP (33 RPM) was lovingly mastered by legendary sound engineer René Laflamme and pressed on high-quality 180-gram vinyl.

René Laflamme, one of the most sought-after sound engineers in the industry, used high-quality Nagra equipment for the mastering. 2xHD, which he runs together with André Perry, founder of the famous “Le Studio” in Québec, enjoys an excellent reputation and has rightly acquired an exceptional status in the high-end world. Laflamme’s unique sound engineering skills are valued by many important players in the industry: for example, he represents and advises sound pioneers such as Nagra and Kronos Audio.
