Run-D.M.C.– King of Rock (SuperVinyl 180g, LP)

Run-D.M.C.’s King Of Rock, released in 1985, set the blueprint for hip-hop for the next two decades, bringing rap to the charts through the previously forbidden channels of radio and television. Released for the first time in audiophile quality and on SuperVinyl, the platinum-selling album takes on a whole new, clear and vibrant dimension. Insistent beats, heavy metal riffs, danceable grooves and cowbell accents invite you to turn up the volume; the first two tracks, ‘Rock The House’ and ‘King Of Rock’, are particularly well suited to discovering the vibes of this honest, raw yet brilliant production. The title of the album is apt, and not just because Run-D.M.C. were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2009.We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
