R. Ricci & London Symphony, P.Gamba & L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande – Carmen Fantasie, Havanaise (SACD hibrid)

In their careers, violin virtuosos cannot avoid the masterpieces united here; Ruggerio Ricci with the London Symphony Orchestra also impressively demonstrates that he is a master of his craft. This wonderful recording of the Carmen Fantaisie, Zigeunerweisen, Havanaise and Symphonie Espagnole was made in London’s Kingsway Hall in September 1959 under the direction of Pierino Gamba.

Here’s a little tip from us: Only the first 1,000 copies of this limited edition, manufactured in Japan, feature a sequential serial number and are therefore extremely sought after by collectors. So don’t wait too long to place your order!

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
