Norah Jones – Feels Like Home (SHM-SACD single layer)

After her debut album ‘Come Away With Me’, which sold nearly 20 million copies worldwide and won eight Grammy Awards, Norah Jones didn’t really have anything left to prove. But with ‘Feels Like Home’, the American singer with the beautiful voice has scored another hit. No wonder the album sounds at times like Americana, at times like country, always a bit like jazz and at the same time like a big daydream.

‘Feels Like Home’ includes the song ‘Sunrise’, a radio favourite that won a Grammy for Best Female Vocal Performance in 2005. In addition to three cover versions, Jones shows her potential in numerous original songs. A quiet album with reduced instrumentation and a worthwhile duet with Dolly Parton.

This title is an SHM SACD. This format is the further development of the single-layer SACD and uses a particularly light-transparent plastic (Super High Material). It allows a much better readability of the pit-land structures on the surface than is possible with hybrid SACDs. Universal’s SHM SACDs are generally re-digitized to DSD from the albums’ master tapes without any changes. SHM SACDs can be played on any SACD player. Please do not use L’Art du Son or alcohol-based cleaning agents. – Please note: All titles are designed by Universal Music as limited edition collector’s items for the Japanese market.
