Nicki Parrott – Fly Me To The Moon (Vinil 180g, LP)

Very relaxed you fly to the moon with the Australian singer and double bass player Nicky Parrott – the interpretation of Frank Sinatra’s classic song became the album title at the same time. With her 5-piece backing band, the jazz artist invites you to enjoy and switch off, like with the folk song „Waltzing Matilda”, which was proposed as the official Australian national anthem, or a wonderful version of Stevie Wonder’s „Never Dreamed You’d Leave in Summer”.

Nicki Parrott (voc, b), John Di Martino (p), Lisa Parrott (bs, ss), Mark Sganga (g), Harry Allen (ts), Billy Drummond (d). Recorded at „The Avatar Studio” in New York on June 17, 18 and 19, 2008.

Venus Records was founded in Japan in 1992 by Tetsuo Hara, who had previously worked as a producer for RCA Victor. The renowned label uses a special mastering process called “Hyper Magnum Sound,” which produces a powerful, dynamic sound and is highly regarded by audiophiles worldwide. A quick note: Venus LPs are pressed only once. Once the run is sold out, the title is removed from the catalog and will not be reissued. Collectors should therefore not wait too long to place their orders: the releases from the “Venus Masterpiece Collection” are extremely popular!

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
