Mario Suzuki – Masterpiece II: Touching Folklore Music (XRCD24)

Maybe you already know the first part of Mario Suzuki’s „Masterpiece” from 2007, in which case you know that on this recording you can expect an outstanding guitarist with passionate folklore music from the Spanish-speaking world, which was also excellently recorded and mastered for XRCD under the highest quality standards by Combak boss Kazuo Kiuchi. For everyone else: don’t miss this recording, even if you’ve never heard of Suzuki. Such emotion, warmth and tonal balance will amaze you

For the recording, as for the first part, Kiuchi engaged Yoshihiko Kannari, an outstanding sound engineer, and in January 2018 booked a studio at Onkio Haus in Tokyo, one of Japan’s most renowned addresses for good recordings. Half-inch analog tape was used, processed on Tohru Kotetsu’s JVC mastering chain.
