Manfred Honeck & Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra – Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5 / Schulhoff: Five Pieces (SACD hibrid multicanal, HDCD)

For this release, Reference Recordings combines Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony with the „Five Pieces for String Quartet” by Erwin Schulhoff. Conductor Manfred Honeck presents his interpretation of the Tchaikovsky work together with his arrangement of the Schulhoff pieces, which he co-wrote with Tomáš Ille. The recording was made in June 2022 at the historic Heinz Hall for the Performing Arts, home of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, in the best audiophile quality.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
