On the album “Live 2025,” Maya Fadeeva and her band deliver warm, groovy tunes and atmospheric sounds. The singer, songwriter, and producer combines catchy melodies with influences from jazz, soul, funk, pop, and reggae. Her music is both retro and modern, lighthearted and profound. Born in St. Petersburg and raised in New York and Germany, Maya Fadeeva draws on a wide range of influences to create her own distinctive style. Her acclaimed albums have gained international recognition, and her live performances are a true highlight!
Maja Fadeeva says the following about her experience with the “Analogtage”: “When I received the invitation to perform as part of the Analogtage at Bauer Studios, I knew this would not be an ordinary concert. It was an immersion into an approach to music that I deeply value. Here, people come together who appreciate sound – not as a consumer product, but as an experience of high-quality art. I am particularly impressed by Norbert Lehmann’s passion for analogue music: his refined sense of quality, his conviction, and his tireless drive to carry analogue music out into the world. With Lehmannaudio and the Analogtage, Norbert makes a decisive contribution to ensuring that analogue music is not only preserved, but rediscovered and experienced anew. I truly take my hat off to that. During my stay at Bauer Studios, I felt decades of musical work in every room – the countless voices and instruments, and the energy of the iconic recordings created there. It is a place where music is not optimized, but respected. It is allowed to breathe, to unfold, and to show its small imperfections, which are what make it come alive.”
Norbert Lehmann, a musician and sound engineer himself, is the founder of “Analogtage” – a concert series held at the world-famous Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg, where the performances are streamed and recorded live. As part of “Analogtage 2025,” he invited Maja Fadeeva and her top-notch band to perform there. The spectacular concert was recorded live in front of an audience at the legendary Bauer Studios in Ludwigsburg using the sophisticated and musically demanding direct-to-2-track method and is now being released by Lehmann Audio as a sonically outstanding 180-gram vinyl record (45 RPM). Daniel Krieger (Schallplatten Schneid Technik, Frankfurt) was responsible for the Half-Speed Mastering.
Bauer Studios is the oldest privately owned studio in Germany. Stereo recordings have been made there since 1949 – at a time when the entire German broadcasting landscape was still broadcasting in mono. Over the past few decades, the Ludwigsburg-based studio has welcomed a steady stream of global jazz stars. The place has an almost magical effect on musicians.
