Lightnin’ Hopkins – Soul Blues (Vinil 180g, LP)

Humorous, tongue-in-cheek stories, often spun spontaneously in the studio, wrapped in real blues; this is what Texas blues singer and guitarist Sam Hopkins aka „Lightnin’ Hopkins” is known and loved for. On 1966’s „Soul Blues,” for example, he tells of a bearded man claiming to be Jesus Christ in „I’m Going to Build Me a Heaven of My Own,” and takes on classics like Willie Dixon’s „My Babe.”

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
