Julian Bream – Guitar Concertos (Vinil 180g, LP)

Two virtuoso classical concertos with a focus on the guitar can be found on this recording by British master guitarist Julian Bream: Mauro Giulianis’ „Concerto for guitar and strings” and Malcolm Arnolds’ „Guitar Concerto, Op. 67”.

Giuliani is today considered Italy’s most important guitarist and composer for this instrument; his magnificent „Concerto for guitar and strings” made the guitar concerto respectable. The „Guitar Concerto, Op. 67” was written by Oscar winner Malcolm Arnold especially for Julian Bream.

Together with the London „Melos Ensemble” under the baton of Malcolm Arnold, a profound listening pleasure for friends of classical guitar music was created.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
