John Coltrane – Giant Steps (Vinil 180g, LP dublu)

„Giant Steps” from 1960 was John Coltrane’s first release on Atlantic Records and represents a high point in the saxophonist’s discography. The album is a timeless masterpiece that cemented Coltrane’s reputation as one of the most innovative musicians of his time with its innovative compositions, masterful interpretations and profound influence on jazz.

All the compositions were written by Coltrane, not least the standards „Naima” and „Giant Steps”. The title track, with its characteristic chord progression, is still a favourite practice piece for jazz musicians and a wonderful introduction to jazz improvisation.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
