Jeff Beck with the Jan Hammer Goup – Live (Vinil 180g, LP)

This release rarely appears on the best-of lists of live albums. At a time when every hidden or overlooked gem seems to have been rediscovered, this 1977 set remains a well-kept secret – a record full of virtuosity, tremendous chemistry, first-rate improvisation and explosive jazz-rock combinations. It’s no wonder that many listeners who came across this record in the late ’70s admit to owning multiple copies and being awed by its power.

Mobile Fidelity presents this collaborative masterpiece in audiophile quality for the first time. Clear, detailed and dynamic, the reissue puts each of the five legendary instrumentalists – Beck, Hammer, drummer Tony ‘Thunder’ Smith, bassist Fernando Saunders and violinist Steve Kindler – in the positions they occupied on stage during the 1976-77 tour.

Limited to 3,000 copies.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
