Gert Palmcrantz’s recording from the Stockholm jazz club Stampen, made on 6 and 7 December 1976, is a perennial favourite among audiophiles. The recording for Proprius Records is one of the best sounding jazz recordings of the 20th century and has already been reissued by various labels in different formats.

This ‘Deluxe 2 Tape Edition’, mastered by René Laflamme, contains two audiophile SM900 tapes recorded at 15 ips in CCIR (also available in NAB) on two symmetrical metal reels manufactured in Germany by Feinwerktechnik Allgäu. It is accompanied by a booklet.
