Freddie King – Getting Ready… (Vinil 180g, LP)

Freddie King is considered one of the most influential electric blues guitarists of the „post-Chicago southside blues sound,” and was equally celebrated for his strong stage presence. „Getting Ready” from 1971 is King’s first of three albums on Leon Russells’ „Shelter” label; the label owner also personally played in the strong backing band, which included „Blues Brother” Donald „Duck” Dunn as well as Don Preston.

The audiophile reissue by Analogue Productions with remastering by Kevin Gray enhances the warmth of King’s guitar and makes the sonic space seem even more layered.

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” LP cleaner to wet wash your vinyl. Even new records of high quality production will benefit from this.
