The quadruple platinum debut album of the first true „superband” is considered groundbreaking for the development of popular music. After multi-instrumental virtuoso Stephen Stills left the Buffalo Springfield band, David Crosby turned his back on the Byrds and Graham Nash on the Hollies, they played together in top form – harmonious, innovative and with strong lyrics.
Released in 1969 on Atlantic Records, the original recording of „Crosby, Stills & Nash” now enjoys a remastered reissue as a numbered hybrid SACD through Mobile Fidelity that will delight audiophile fans of the legendary folk-rock band. The polyphonic vocal harmonies typical of CSN are brought out intensely in the remastering of the original master tapes. Great songs like „Suite: Judy Blue Eyes”, „Marrakesh Express”, „Long Time Gone” or „Helplessly Hoping” inspire with a detailed presentation, in which even the interwoven guitar parts work wonderfully. Realistically and atmospherically reproduced, the re-release of this classic is a real listening pleasure.
We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
