Descriere

Canadian quintet ‘Buzz Brass’ present an astonishingly rich and dramatic new recording of this spectacular original score for brass quintet and organ. The power, energy and depth of field of this recording was achieved using two Neuman U67 microphones on Gemini Lifts at a height of 75 feet and recorded to an AMPEX 354 tube magnetophone with NAB EQ curve.

Mastered by René Laflamme, this edition contains two audiophile SM900 tapes recorded at 15 ips in CCIR (also available in NAB) on two balanced metal reels manufactured in Germany by Feinwerktechnik Allgäu. It is accompanied by a booklet.

2xHD tapes are ordered on request with a waiting period.
