Benjamin Britten & English Chamber Orchestra – Britten Conducts English Music for Strings (SACD hibrid)

Conducted by Benjamin Britten, the English Chamber Orchestra plays a successful compilation of various string works by Purcell, Elgar, Delius, Bridge and also by Britten himself with the „Simple Symphony For String Orchestra, Op. 4”. The recording took place at the renowned Kingsway Hall in London.

Here’s a little tip from us: Only the first 1,000 copies of this limited edition, manufactured in Japan, feature a sequential serial number and are therefore extremely sought after by collectors. So don’t wait too long to place your order!

We recommend the use of „L’Art du Son” CD/DVD conditioner for even more sonic improvement.
