The RD-101, a hybrid between DAC and analog preamplifier. The best of both the analog and digital world. As more and more people are using digital at their primary sources, and analog as secondary sources, we desided to design a product which focus on such usage. The RD-101 is based on modules in both analog and digital section. Not only does this give better shielding between the different functions, but also provides an easy way of upgrading moving forward. The analog stage of the RD-101 is based on the ULN mod- ules designed for the SL-102, and provides a similar sound as the SL-102 provided. The volume control is taken from the multiaward winning RI-100 and gives regulation between -69dB and +6dB.
